Modified Citrus Pectin Capsules
A water soluble polysaccharide for cellular support
Modified citrus pectin is a water-soluble polysaccharide found in the cell wall of citrus fruits (grapefruit source). The fibre content in the wall has found to have many health benefits. The molecule is cleaved to deliver the highest possible level of galactose. The galactose residues in the modified pectin bind to the lectin-like receptor sites of the liver parenchyma, altering cell surface adhesion properties. This aids in interfering with the interactions required to transport unwanted cells to other sites in the body. Modified citrus pectin has been reported to aid in the stabilization of blood sugar levels and removal of toxins from the body. It can also help lower cholesterol, which reduces the risk of heart disease. It also reportedly enhances cytotoxic response in the body’s NK cells.
Modified Citrus Pectin (water soluble) 450 mg. Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Silicon Dioxide as required to fill capsule.
